1. Controller

2. The short version
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads nothing from third parties (no embedded videos, no external fonts). Fonts, images and videos are served from my own server.

3. Hosting and server log files
The website runs on a server I rent from STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany (data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR). When you visit, the web server stores technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identifier. The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after 7 days.

4. Cloudflare
I use Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) for DNS, encryption (HTTPS) and protection against attacks. Connection data such as your IP address passes through Cloudflare's servers. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement is in place. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure and fast operation of the website).

5. Links to Steam and other services
Links to Steam, Discord or other services are plain links. Data is only sent to the respective provider once you click them; their privacy policy applies from then on.

6. Contact by email and contact form
If you write to me, I process your details (name, email address, topic, message) only to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed, at the latest when statutory retention periods expire.

Messages from the contact form are forwarded to my mailbox by email. Sending is handled by Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg) in its Frankfurt am Main data centre, as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. Amazon is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. To prevent spam, the server checks that the form was sent from this website and counts messages per visitor. For this, a daily-changing, non-reversible check value is derived from your IP address and kept for at most 24 hours; the IP address itself is not stored (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The form sets no cookies and loads no third-party content.

6a. Social media profiles
I have profiles on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Reddit. The links on this website are plain links. When you visit a profile, the provider's privacy policy applies.

7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Wiesbaden.

8. The game
TACHOTASTIC itself does not collect any personal data. Save games are stored locally on your device (on Steam optionally in Steam Cloud). Leaderboards and achievements run through Steam; Valve's privacy policy applies.
